Ok, so where do you draw the line, on what boating accessories are necessary to have on your boat or what are essential. In a perfect world, you would have all of the accessories you want. Here are some non essential but defiantly nice-to-have boat accessories on my wish list.
This mountable bar is an entertainers dream. A full service bar, where you can keep all your supplies accessible and safe from spills. what I like about this bar, is that it can be permanently mounted on your boat, which makes it convenient.
A new, high preforming audio system will make your boat a lot better for entertaining. Replace your deck, and speakers and you are on your way to better sound.
Stand Up paddle board
These paddle boards can be mounted right on your boat rails using a custom mounting kit. I like the idea because you can either have a rigid board or an inflatable board that you don’t have to deflate after every use. This type of set up is also nice because it keeps the board in an area that doesn’t interfere with your daily use of the boat.
For the long days at anchor, a small Honda generator would be perfect to keep your electric systems operable. It will do everything from powering your fridge to charging your batteries. This is definitely a nice to have item.
Chart plotters range in price and are nice to have onboard. I find that I use the Navionics charts on a tablet instead. The cost of those charts is much less than what you will pay for a proper chart plotter and for me, Navionics does the trick.
There is definitely no shortage of boating products out there that you may want but will not buy anytime soon. Tell me what products are on your wish list!
